After the Fire, the Fire Still Burns
With less than a 100 days from our scheduled ribbon cutting hundreds of thousands of dollars are still left to be raised. People ask how we could start a project that we know we don't have the money to complete. The answer is simple; lives are depending on us.
After the fire we closed down for just about two years. How many dogs and cats were destroyed or have suffered since November 23, 2008? That's what motivates us to re-open so soon. To make plans to build a shelter that we know we can't afford to complete. It was the urgency of the situation and hope that the community would help us back on our feet.
We are counting down the days and taking extreme measures to fundraise to gather our last amount of money. Without your help we would not have come so far, and without your help we can't complete our shelter.
I know many of you have given already and supported us for this we thank you. But we must make another plea for help. Visit ARFCT.org. Share us on facebook, organize a fundraiser for us, spread the word and send a donation.
We need any and all help. Until we raise the money the homeless cats and dogs will continue to pay the ultimate price.
Thank you for your continued support.
